Trusted by mums and recommended by healthcare professionals, Colief Infant Drops is the original lactase enzyme preparation designed for use by milk-fed babies and has been on the market for over 20 years. When used as instructed by the label, Colief Infant Drops break down the lactose contained in milk (breast milk and infant formula) into the simpler sugars, glucose and galactose. The drops are suitable for use from birth onwards, even in premature babies. The drops can be used at every feed. Many parents stop using the drops when their baby is around three to four months old. However Colief Infant Drops can be used until the baby is weaned onto solid food.

How to Use

Breastfeeding: Try expressing a few tablespoons of breast milk into a small sterilized container. Add 4 drops of Colief® Infant Drops. Give this to your baby on a sterilized plastic teaspoon. Continue breastfeeding as normal. Using Colief with Infant Formula: Make-up your baby's feed carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add 4 drops of Colief® Infant Drops to formula that is warm, not hot. Shake the feed occasionally, and feed the baby after half an hour having checked that the bottle is at the correct temperature. Discard any unused feed. If you need to make up your baby's feed in advance: Make-up your baby's feed carefully according to the manufacturer's instructions Add 2 drops of Colief® Infant Drops to milk that is warm, not hot, and store in the refrigerator for approx. 4 hours before use Warm to feeding temperature and feed the baby Using ready-to-feed formula: Warm the feed and add 4 drops of Colief® Infant Drops Wait for half an hour, shaking occasionally, before feeding the baby Discard any unused feed
